I am from india I wanted to ask wheather the new law (i heard) which states that after completion of contract with the saudi employer if one goes on Exit. He does not require NOC to join another company in saudi arabia. How far is this true? Can anyone give me proof document for the same.
As |I have got an offer from a saudi company buti have come on exit from saudi arabia in may 2007 ( six months passed) Can i join another company in saudi arabia without NOC. BEcause my employer does not want to give the same.

due some pay problem with my comany i have come back on final exit from saudi arabia to pakistan. according to the new rule of saudi arabian embbasy can i go to saidia arabia in another company without noc.

It happen to some filipino workers that they could come back even with out NOC. But you should have an Exit Visa and no Re Entry

i heard from one of my friend he is saying once you complete 2 years contract with your employer then no need NOC. bcs he was working in 5 star hotel he worked there for 4 or 5 years and he was not satisfied over there and he purchased a visa and went on exit and within a month he came again to saudi. when i ask him he said if you have a visa within a week you can come back saudi arabia

I have an offering letter from new company, Can I get it back my relases ? What is the rules regulations of these release procedures ? Pleae give me the reply

I am a Nurse working before 1 and 1/2 years in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After this I went on exit and came back to Saudi Arabia at Al Khobar with a Residence visa ( Family visa) and residing with my husband. I would like to get a job in any hospital in Khobar or Dammam. Hi,
I left a company after working for over 4 years in Feb 2007, on exit-rentry visa & did not return to Saudi & tendered my resignation through mail which was accepted. I have another offer in Saudi now.
Can I go back after 1.4 years without requiring an NOC. What is the ban period for such a case? Appreciate your answer!

Dear Sir,
I am an expatriate working in saudi arabia for the last 10 years. The sponsorers in private companies in saudi arabia are treating their employees like slaves even in this year of 2008.
the employee cannot do anything, like going to his home country on official leave or vacation or even at a time of emergency like if one of his family member is sick or dead without the permission of his sponsorer because the employees` passport is held with the sponsorer and the passport office will not stamp a visa without the signatures of the sponsorer. sometimes the employees are treated like animals[particularly female workers] they are lockedup in their rooms for more than two to three months. the employers even dont pay the salaries . if the employee wants to go back to his country he/she will not be allowed to do so.
so kindly take some action about this by informing the international agencies and bringing reforms and freedom in employment in saudi arabia.

Im an electrical engineer and i came to saudi arabia on a job visa for a contractual period of 2 yrs.now after 16 months i resigned my company.my GM accepted the resignation and asked me to go to jawazat(ministry) for finger prints and he refused to give NOC.if i go on exit,when can i comeback on the same passport if dont have NOC.what the new labor law says about that.can i come back immediately on the passport?and how do i know that he hasnt black listed me. please clarify.desparately waiting for ur reply.

Respected Sir, on 2006, september 17th I landed here as a computer operator. since then I have been working without a single compalin. Actually i have a 3 years of contract and My signature is there in the company file in the contract paper. but I have heard that after completion of 2 years he/she can go back to his own country … when I asked about this two management people that i wanna go after two years, then they say that I have to pay more than 3000 riyal for visa charge, iquma charge. plane fare and this and that .. is that reallly true. 1) what will be my benefit calculation that i draw SR-2800 (as a Basic SR-2000+Fixed bonus SR-600+Food all SR-200)
2) Is it compulsory to obtain NOC from the present employer for comming back to Saudi Arabia? or what will be the other way if the employer refuse to give NOC?

Dear Sir,
One of the saudi firm contacted me for the post of IT manager (buradah). they have sent me the agreement letter. I am not sure what kind of rights I have while working in KSA. I am married and my visa status would be “family”. I want to know that who would bear the expenses for me and my family for first time traveling, visa processing fee and commisson of job agent here in Pakistan.
and after that, if I want to come back home on vacation, should they pay the TWO air tickets for me and my family or by law I am entitled for only one ticket. what is the basic salary, in Pakistan there are some allowances, based on the basic salary. is there any difference between basic salary and gross salary in KSA.

sir , iam working in a company for last 1 year in saudiarabia and my contaract period is 1 year renewable, my contarcty period is over now, i informed my company that iam not intrested to renew my contract,so i asked exit ,if my company if not giving me exit what i should do to get exit for me.

Filipino here, am just almost a month old in KSA. When I asked for when is my salary pay(ratif), my employer told me that for a newcomer like me, I won’t be receiving salary for 3months(like am on probation). He says its the new labor law, am printing now the file and will read later when I go home. Hope someone here could enlightn me. thank you.

Well I have no Idea if it is true based on the new saudi labor law. But during my 2nd company here in Saudi Arabia I also have this 3 mos delayed but the excuse then was because of ” pondo ” raw but when I got home they paid it in full.

I agree with our kabayan tungkol sa pondo, shit happens! I’m familiar with the term pondo, noong kumuha ako ng tao sa pinas, i stipulated it, mahirap na ako pa masisi, its a company policy ika nga, kasi pag di ka gumana dito, ang pondo mo ang maging pamasahe mo pag uwi. Mostly specially sa construction, dalawa lng daw ang company dito, yung delay magpasahod at ayaw magpasahod.

As what I have told you sometime it is not Labor law but company policy. If it is written in the company policy wala kang laban doon.

our company does not pay overtime and until now our iqamas has not been released almost 5 months now.
the company is always giving a promises for an increase but untill now they have not.
…..please tell us and expalin to us the best thing/way to do.

am a newbie here in KSA/mid east, and have no idea on laws, regulations when i came here, am still learning.. that’s why am asking sir.. for the benefit of the doubt kabayan…
that’s why i searched and found this informative forum..
btw, after arguing/battling it with my employer, i finally received my salary, i remained diplomatic while arguing(helped alot, so guys & gals don’t freak out), explained reasons(i.e. how can i live here in ksa w/o allowance, salary for 3mos, and so on and so forth)

I Would like to ask you regarding the NOC. Sir I am working in saudia arabia and I got very good Oppurtunity and I want to go back to Pakistan and again come back through New Visa but my I dont have NOC From my pervious company.Please tell me could I come without NOC.Visa can be stamp without NOC.

I dont know if you can help me my husband is in dammam his he applied as a graphic artist, his been there since july of this year, first the salary his employer is giving him is below what is in the contract,second his employer is obligating him to be a graphic artist, salesman, technician,marketing and as a secretary. lastly his working 15 hrs. strait without overtime pay. now my question is what should he do, can he go to labor for this reason, is he allowed to change employer without leaving saudi for this reason, I rally hope to hear from you soon and really hoping that you can help us. thank you very much for taking time in reading this message….

Dear friends, for pakistan, this is only on paper that NOC is waived. For Pakistan, a worker who already worked in Saudi Arab, has to produce NOC while applying for VISA in Saudi Embassy. I just recently observed my friends applying for visa both from pakistan and behrain on pakistani passport and they were asked for NOC. This can be true other countries, but for pakistani passport holders, NOC has to be submitted for getting work visa if the holders previously worked in KSA. Regards

I am syed akhtar ali from pakistan.iam working in saudi arab for last 13 years.i have brought my own visa and then i joined the company of sales distribution as a sales man i have worked for 11 years in that company.The company GM has terminated me vurbaly and taken my van without inventory.i had some accounts problem which i have cleard it before 12 Feb 2008 and My GM had told me that you were terminated then i met with the area manager he told me to stay clam and told me to wait ur work we will start as soon as possible so like that it past 8 months and getting my salary as usaual but when i went to company for talk about my work they told me you are terminated and you have to pay 10,000 sr to get release from us i have a exipire product of 16000 sr and 8000 sr invoices which the GM is not accepting and now they have stopped my salary for 2 months i am living in tabuk had come to jeddah with my family and suffering from this situation is day by day it is difficult to live i want my graduaty and money and want to get release from this company can any one help me PLZ PLZ i am in found of help from this world.

In our company if your years of service is below five years you will entitle for a service benefit off only 33% of the total benefit due. Example Employee A worked for 4 years with salary of 2000. his benefit would only be (2000×4/2)x33%=1320. but in the case if he is terminated he can get 4000 SR . Is the computation correct or not? Please advice

i am a Pakistani National and working currently in constructon company in saudi arabia and need to know if i left this job and go back to my countary on exit visa. I also have another offer from different company and are giving me visa and to get visa they need my current passport number. Kindly let me know if i go on exit from my current employer without NOC, so will i be able to come back on new visa provided by new company with old passport number. I mean to say Saudi embassy will still ask me NOC or they can just stamp visa without NOC or not. Or do i need to get new passport to stamp visa.

Is it compulsory to sign a contract agreement if one has worked for the same company for more than 10 yrs.
i’ve heard that it is not compulsory to sign a contract if one has worked in the same company for more than 10 yrs. he/she may continue as long as he/she wants and can resign any time with one month notice.

I am here in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. This Haj holiday our company declare Dec 8 to Dec 12 working holiday in project site so we can claim over time from it, no doubt about that. But what confuses me is that, the other project which is in the south west part of Saudi, I have learned from my previuos colleague that (we are working on same company but of different project site) declared Dec 11 and 12 only thus they can only claim two days over time. My question is. What are the basis of declaring Hajj holidays? Is the company has the power to declare the number of days? Is there any basis from saudi labor law?

I am working here in Saudi since May 12, 2005 with a contract duration of 2 years & with annual vacation. I got 3 annual vacation. I take my last vacation last Oct 2008 & I just came back for just 1 mo ago.
Just this month I got an offer from another company here in saudi Arabia & 2 weeks ago i was taken a finger print.

I have been working with a Co. in Saudi Arabia for last 7 years. I am a Pakistani national and married to a women with saudi nationality. My company wants me to sign a contract for 18 months which says that in case of leaving the company during the contract period, i can not work with a direct competitor of the company for next 18 months after resignation. Is this clause in the contract legally forceable. Now please guide me whether i should sign this contract or not. Does having a saudi national wife exempt me from this “No competitor clause” of this contract.

Hi There do you know what the rule is for NOC letter. I left KSA on exit visa in 2005 September and went to work in Bahrain. Now I am back in Canada for 9 months and want to work back in KSA. So it has been 3 years and 8 months since I left KSA… I left without a NOC letter.
Will I need such a letter after this time has elasped?

We have the following questions that we need an answer as per Saudi Labor Law that’s applicable to us Filipinos working here in Saudi Arabia.
1. Deduction – we were hired from the Philippines and placement fee will be deducted from our salary as we understand as per our agency in the Philippines. Placement fee is equivalent to one month salary. We arrived last February of 2009, and we are now 4 months here and we did not get our salary for one month, is that considered to be our deduction?
2. Overtime – our overtime rendered for February, March and April are not paid yet it’s now June 2009 and the company has not paid us our overtime. What should we do?
3. IQAMA – It has been 4 months already but our Iqama has not been issued yet, all we have is our temporary Iqama. What should we do?

Ussually in our company .. They are giving based on the your salary when you are due vacation.. So when you are due January but you get the increment on February you cannot get the increment calculation. but it will be available on your next vacation

is it true that there is a new law about the annual vacation of laborers? presently, a laborer has a 15 days/year vacation & he can enjoy it after a year with a total of 30 days/2 yrs.. the new law says, a laborer can enjoy 30 days/yr.
if this is true, a lot of expats will be happy about this new law.

We have this memo written their that we non-muslim are required to work for 8hrs during this ramadan without any over paid only for those muslim who are having the fasting can have the 6hrs working hours onfaward 6hrs consider over time. According to that memo this is written on saudi labor law, is it true sir? Dear Sir,
I have a contract and I am being terminated on policy of redundancy by the company.
wages : my wages comprise of basic + housing + transport. Housing and car being provided by the company.
I have leave encashment 23 days. The calculation is being made
23/ 30 x basic salary. Where as in past I am told that it was 23/26 days of work ( friday holiday ) x wages ( basic + housing value + conveyance value )
This was the way it was being paid in past – But a new HR Manager is reducing the wage to just basic.
Is this correct ?

I started working in a company 15 years before and during this period they used to pay us every two years the end service bonus based on the basic salary at that time only and without adding the allowances .
Now as I will leave the company for good can I ask to recalculate my end service benefits for the last 15 years based on the last salary I received from the company plus all allowances and to consider what I received for the last years under end service benefits as advance payment for the same.

I am from india and I m working in Saudi Arabia more than 3 years now I m thinking for new job because when I went my vacation that time I sign a new contract with the company and management told when you will return back from vacation then you will get your difference amount of contract because my contract was expire before some months and I was engage in project when I sing a new contract (renew contract) and after return back from my vacation I submitted my paper to company please paid my balance amount what is balance between old contract and new contract but till now I didn’t get that amount and company told I cant pay and when any person is going vacation then he is asking about guaranty amount we never see like this in contract if any person will go his own vacation then company need guaranty I think this not Saudi law and also not in labor law. so now I am thinking for new job but my company is not giving final exit but any person is resigning the company with notice period then company have to give final exit not re-entry.
can its possible if I will go with re-entry visa then I can come back to Saudi Arabia and in this case can I go any another country (GCC) also. Please reply me on my mail what is the rule and law in this case.

good day po.. ask lang po kasi po for exit na ako and i want to get a police clearance. my friend said i cant get one coz i dont have letter from the other country’s embassy. or the embassy will not allow me to get Police clearance for my reason(i want to be cleared so when i apply to other countries they will see me cleared).. help naman po paano ako makakakuha ng police clearance…

i am a staff midwife and i work here in this clinic for more than 11 years.in my contract every 2 yrs we need to go vac.but i its not happen i can go over on my 2 yr contract in other words since i come here i can go vac. 3X only and the benefits they will give is only 1mos.every time i will go..so now if i want to go exit i have the right to ask my service award?because there’s allot of staff here they go exit but they don’t give service award..what will i do.

My first company (who hired me from Pakistan) gave me release after finishing 2-year contract. then I joined 2nd company and my iqama was transferred to it but after 8 years service they terminated me at the time of my vacation. I received termination letter by them just last working day along with passport and at that time they promised me that when you will come back from vacation we will release you but after my returned back from Pakistan they changed their decision and now they willing to send me on final exit.
Now let me know about that is there any way to get release by them? For your kind information, I am living in Saudi Arabia from almost ten years with my family and my kids are studying in lower and higher classes.
Please give me your advice ASAP.

salam ,i from india i joined a tradin comp.in dec 2010 as sales exe.my initial contract was for 2 years.on 16 th jan 2012 they terminated me without notice.they took my iqama.they told me within 4 days u are going to exit.they took my signature on termination letter.and one other letter in arabic that i recived my all benifits.they didnt give my passport and two months salary.help me

i am employee from sri lanka. Working at house driver in jameayeen dammam. My employer said me, they dont want further my service. And already made my final exit visa without asked me and gave sixty days for exit. I was warking this house from 2011.01.06. My agreement salary 1200. But he paid only 1000. Now he said make my tiket, from my next two month salary. But, already have balance two month salary. I have only 55days. What i can do for it. Please help me. Thank you.

i doing work in glass factory in ksa. my factory owner is invester and belongs egypt. his working hour 7 am to 8 pm. and no any over time. if any worker ill he never accept and 2 days cut from salary. worker are go in all kindom for fixing glass ,al hafoof, al dammam, shiqra, etc. he not pay any ta,da. if they back at late night 2 am and not reach at the time at morning he cut half day from salary. on national day of kindom not allow to worker for holiday. and he said that its my factory here is all laws of mine, what i do?
